Painted Eagle Ranch

My name is Jon Eagle and I come from the Hunkpapa (Camps at the Horn) band of the Lakota People.  I am married to Martina Miller who comes from the Sihasapa (Blackfoot) band of Lakota.  Together we have seven children and two grandsons and as you can see from the photos on this page, we have a rich life, full of many blessings.

About the Images

During the summer, we travel to celebrations across Indian country.  Our children love to sing and dance.

When we're not at powwows, we enjoy going to horse races.  Some of the pictures are from the Annual Chief Running Antelope Horse Races held in July and the Sitting Bull College Wacipi na Oskate in September.
