Painted Eagle Ranch

Welcome to the Painted Eagle Ranch.  We are a family owned and operated ranch, located in south central North Dakota on the beautiful homelands of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.  We raise and train American Paints and Quarter Horses.  Every year we offer our finest colts for sale and pride ourselves on producing foals of exceptional color and exceptional quality.

My name is Jon Eagle and I grew up on my father's ranch in north central South Dakota during a time when horses were a vital part of a ranches operations.  Back in the day we didn't much care about bloodlines as long as a horse could get the job done.  Today, we no longer have cattle, so we have focused our attention on raising horses.  We are looking for proven pedigrees, correct conformation and a willing attitude.

Our goal is to produce versatile horses that have the ability to go in any direction you may want to take them.  Ranch on them, compete on them or simply enjoy taking them on trail rides.  We hope you enjoy your visit and we appreciate your business.
