Custom Beaded Tack

Glen Eagle comes from the Hunkpapa (Camps at the Horn) band of Lakota people and grew up along the Grand River Valley of South Dakota.  As a youngman, Glen made a living starting colts for area farmers and ranchers.  After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Army and served in Vietnam.  After being honorably discharged from the military, he returned to his homelands and ranched in north central South Dakota.

Glen has been a Native American Cowboy all his life and knows the value of good working tack.  He has spent decades perfecting his craft and produces museum quality beadwork.

About the Images

Mr. Eagle beads traditional Lakota designs on a loom, and then sews the beadwork on a 2" nylon breast collar with felt backing.  This is good usable tack that is guaranteed to get you noticed.

Glen has been beading since 1980 when he made his first breast collar.  Here's your chance to own an authentic work of art.  He is well known throughout Indian Country for his beadwork.
